Is anybody, like me, wondering what the limit is to how many wounds a character can gain from theCchaos Runesword? It doesn't state it in the rules at all, it merely says he gains +1 wound/unsaved wound caused. Does this mean his wounds can go on indefinitely, up to a limit of 10? Anyone have any ideas?
So Sayeth Jimmy boy
No limit at all, just remember it isnt all that great as you are still only strength 5, it will be ok against rank and file however leaves you pretty open against characters, i would personally rather take a daemon sword, axe of Khorne or sword of migt (not a huge fan of the daemon sword either).
Just keep attacking and gaining, until you get Killing Blowed... lol.
I think its great WoC got something better then the Daemon version, for cheaper!
Especially when it comes to ComRes
How smug would your oppenent feel after that?
Although I think all stats are limited to 10 max, even so, killing blowing a 10 wound chaos lord....
The name refers to facial hair, not playing style.Originally Posted by A news vendor's stand, London, June 1940
I think the absolute Cap is just for 40K.
Think back to the old VC Black Coach. I saw one with 54 wounds get hit by a cannonball before
I agree with beardy_weirdy but as has been said could be a crushing loss when a 10W Lord gets nailed by Killing Blow. In 3000+ when you can have 2 heroes i think it could be useful as a way of annihalting units but its always going to be a risk when you come up against Killing Blow
