Need to finish off a 2000 point list.. opinions on what to do

Hey all.. I have been away from the realm of chaos with my Tomb Kings but feel the need to pick my warriors up again...

I currently only have 1500 points worth of models (marks and magic items and such included)...

1x hero/lord-type character
1x mounted sorcerer
12x warrior (built with hand weap and shield)
5x knight
15x marauders
1x chariot
2x spawn

between marks, making units chosen, magic items, etc... it comes out to be anywhere between 1450-1495 points (depends on how i build it with what marks/items for what army im playing).

My question is.. what new and exiting (or boring an consistant.. doesnt matter) things should I add to my list?
I feel like I need more magic, as most of the lists I play against are very magic heavy. I also feel like I need another unit of warriors, or maybe some marauder horsemen and some hounds... I'm kind of at a loss here because it's pretty balanced as is...

I primarily play against Empire, and Vampire Counts.. with the random sprinkling of Dwarves and Orcs/Gobbos.

Any feedback would be fantastic!

anouther charriot could be nice thake your wizzard of his steed and put him in the maruaders. make the maruaders 25 men strong with hand weps and shields +LA
get anouther unit of worriors with halberds make these your chosen.
that should be aout all you can get in there but you need the worriors for your minimum core so there your first priority then the 25 maruaders and if you can fit in the charriot that would be good

Id say.. another Chariot, boosting that Marauder unit, and possibly a Giant would be good additions.

Add some more Characters maybe, but especially if you want any type of Magic offnece.

Thanks for the advice guys! What I'd like to discuss next is... do I need to invest points into giving everything a mark? If not, that would free up even more points to spend on more units/models.

The other question I had is.. I notice alot of people giving their warriors halbreds. I like to give mine extra hand weapons, which turns the unit into walking lawn mowers. Extra hand weapons, mark of khorne... makes for a nasty unit. The downside, is people love to target that unit as quickly as possible.

Another problem I'm running into that I havent found an answer for is...
My unit of 5 Knights... how do I keep them alive longer? They don't seem to last past turn 3. I think I need something to support their combat resolution. So that takes me back to my original question.. do I get another unit of marauders to be support flank (marauder horsemen maybe?) or do I flank with the chariot? or another block of knights? I'm at a loss.

i would say yes as marks add character to an army but its not esential...

I agree with you on the Warriors, 2xHWs + Khorne + Chosen + 6 Wide unit = Insane number of attacks.

As for the Knights, are they Chosen / Marked? They should be able to take on most units alone. If you want to protect them from guns, use Warhounds.

The Knights are chosen and marked as Slaanesh.
4 Knights, Full command, plus Aspiring Champion.
