I'm working on an Khorne list at the moment and need some magic protection and I use two scroll caddies in the form of 2 level 2 sorcerors with 2 scrolls each.
Is this the best way to field them, or should I drop them to level 1's and give them mounts so they can ride with my marauder horsemen with javelins.
How do you use your defensive wizards, or scroll caddies as they are more commonly known?
Are they mobile or stationary, solo or accompanied, upgraded or on the cheap?
"The more choices you force the opponent to make, the better the chance for you to capitalize on his mistakes"
You definatly should have them as just Lvl 1's.
Run them with your warriors or something if possible, anything to keep the points for them as low as possible.
 Orks Tau,
SM WHFB Chaos
You may want to think about putting them in chariots as well as dropping the levels. This may make them more expensive but you'll get a pair of US5 chariots that don't take up the special slots as well as being a bit cheaper because it's a character mount.
BEN DIESEL FTW!!!
Well, your working on a khorne list, which your probably doing it because of two things
1)Khorne is cool
2)Your fond of being awesome in CC
Given the case, I would personally just ditch the croll caddies all together, take more fighty heroes, and try and stack up MR like a true follower of the blood god. Without resorting to forcing characters on to juggers (something you'll probably want to do to a degree anyway), I was able to get 7 mr dice with the option avaible to a 2000 point army. Thats before your take jerk items like the black tongue into play.
It may not work as well as scroll caddies, but it's more fitting to the theme and probaly more fun.
