The new Juggernaut looks a fantastic model and I decided I had to have one in my army until I looked closer at its stats. It appears to me to be T4, W1 and no armour save. The +3 to the riders save won't help it from dying very quickly. Am I reading this right?
Kinda... it counts as a mount (but not a monstrous mount) and so can't be attacked seperately. The massive +3 to the riders save represents not only it's tough skin but also it's mass and hardness to kill.
No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!
Sounds strange a huge half metallic beast with multiple attacks and on a large base counting as just a mount? Thanks for your answer.
Yup. If memory serves, though, anything with only one wound counts as a standard mount.
Im also pretty sure it only counts as a normal mount as it does not matter what base size it is on, in the rule book its says monsterous mounts are anything with 2+ wounds and there for can be attacks.
In my opionion it make the jugganaught alot better as it cant be killed, therefore its not a waste of points and is easy CR as most people would just target the mount for attacks. And its a great mount for giving your lord a +1 armour save with no upgrades other then the jugger
