Lets assume 2250 chaos warrior build
Pretend you are going to a gamer tournament, or just a friendly local game, and you do not know who your opponent will be or even what army you will be fighting. You could be up against a shooting army, or a heavy magic army etc.
Is there an army roster that would at least perform well in all occasions? Does that list even exist or is it just luck of the draw?
comments and opinions appreciated.
It's the list with a variety of things. Not too sure how I can further explain that, but don't go for just infantry, since you'll lose if you go up against a WE force, for example. You want several units to deal with almost anything that can be thrown at you.
Right now I have a really fun list. Not sure how practical it is. I am new to the games. I do not remeber all my magic items, but I have the list of characters, etc, and I actually won a game with it.
1 sorcerer lord of tzeetch on a disk level 4
1 exalted champion of khorne on juggernaut mount (really awsome!!)
1 level 2 sorcerer.
2x5 chaos warrior with halberd and shield nurgle full command.
3x5 maurauder footmen with shield and handweapon Slanesh (maybe I should put flails)
1x5 maurauder horsemen with shields/weapon Slanesh. (flails again would be better)
1x5 full command chaos knights nurgle with ensorcelled weapons.
2 chariots (really awsome units)
1 Shaggoth dragon ogre with 2 handed weapon.
My 3 characters are really decked out and they rock. I really enjoy using them.
Anyway, not really balanced with huge blocks of men but really fun to play.
I do not feel the need to be a power gamer and have a cheap army just to win, but I would like to at least have a fighting chance.
