I need to make a strong 750pts list to play a friend of mine in a week or so's time.
He wont tell me what army he is using, so i need one that could take on a wide variety of foe, and he's a pretty good player too, high placing and winning in some local tournaments.
Id love to use knights, but im very willing to except that that wont happen.
Your thoughts and/or ideas?
Maybe an all marauding horde, horseback and ranked...
Im stumped to be honest, any advice would be massively grateful
I played my friend's DE army with a 1000 pt army. I would suggest a couple of things I saw suggested in another post.
Try using a chariot, they have good charge range and will cut through units. But be careful, a cannon will ruin your day. I talk from personal experience.
Use some warhounds, they will let your precious warriors or hero or hitty unit into combat. And they are relatively cheap.
Marauders or Warriors? That's up to you. If you marauders you will be able to have more, unit strength is more important when you only have a couple of units to work with. If you go for marauders, I would recommend Slaanesh so they won't break.
Magic can be tricky. As cool as the chaos lores are, not marking your sorcerer will give you a larger choice of lores. When the time comes, you'll be able to make an appropriate choice based on what you're fighting. Or if you really want the chaos lore take the book os secrets, gives you an extra random spell and a power dice.
Thanks all I can think of at the moment. Good luck!
The best way to deal with suprise is to bring your own.
4x Ogres (GW, Chaos Armor, MoS)
