What are the best units to put sorcerers in? Also, is it better to have them mounted or on foot? Right now the only sorcerer I own is on a disc so If I made him a lord and wanted two more sorcerers to compliment him what should I do with them(at least one if not both would be nurgle)?
Also on a side note, the disc gives u +1 to your armour save, correct?

Honestly I've been running my 2 Lvl 2 Tzeentch sorcerers in units of 20 Mauraders with Mark of Slannesh. With the rest of my army set up, people have been completely ignoring them in favor of the nasty, fast moving stuff (Knights, Chaos Lord, Dragon Ogres, etc). The only part I just have to watch though is jumping the sorcerers out of the unit prior to them charging in (having to challenge is just a pain).
Least the mauraders can soak up fire and not have to worry about panicking.
Thanks! Yeah I think that I would put an undivided sorcerer in a unit of slaaneshi marauders(I don't really like mixed marking). Do you think that fire would work best to boost the missiles? Also would it still be effective to put a Nurgle sorcerer in a unit of nurgle marauders and the put a mounted undivided sorcerer in a unit of slaaneshi horseman?
I once ran Vilitch, Festus, and two buddies in a 40-man Warrior unit. That was pretty awesome.
Seriously though, the best place I've ever found to put a sorcerer is in a unit of Marauder Cav, marked Slannesh or Nurgle. The power of a Fast Cav wizard is impressive, and the Marauders themselves are pretty decent with Axes.
If you do go this route, cosider taking Stream of Corruption or Bloodcurdling Roar. Both of which are fairly cheap and a nasty shock to opponents trying to hide behind dispel scrolls.
Trust in your core choices - love them, hate them, wish them dead to clear charges, but remember that come end they will pull off a miracle for you.
ok, so I would probably throw an undivided in a unit of slaaneshi horseman and put a nurgle sorcerer in a unit of nurgle marauders.....sounds good?
