Favourite Way To Arm Your Chaos Lord

When your arming your chaos lord what armament do you find most useful. The model comes with two hand weapons. But do you think i should take a sheild as i could convert a warrior one pretty quiqkly. So which do you think is the best way to arm your lord ???

Heres how i like my khorne lord armed!!

Chaos lord on daemonic steed
with mark of khorne, armour of damnation,
bane shield, berserker sword.

I also agree with what CaptainOtori said
you, yourself are the general!!

i guess i'll try arming him with a sheil as having a converted general will be nice.

So a nice runic sword and sheild will probobly do.

Do you think i should take the marauder cheiftans sword as that has some runes on. Otherwise i'll keep him with an axe

Yes use the chieftains sword although i just used archaons!! which i think is great
as i use it as the berserker sword! (looks quite angry&#33 you could even use abbadon's which looks quite cool as some sort of daemon weapon!!
for my shield i just used one of the beastmen shields from the current range!!
you might know the one it has a skull on it! :blink: (which i used as my bane shield!&#33 As my lord is on a daemonic steed i also plan to convert a version of him on foot using archaons upper torso & some legs from the old chaos warriors boxset!

Sounds nice , i was planning on using a chaos warrior sheild if i can get the hand working{thats the only think stopping me at the moment}. And as i said the marauder champions sword as it looks pretty runic, i&#39;m only worried i&#39;ll need something bigger <_<

Anyway i dont want to use specific parts of models as money is&#39;nt easy to find :rolleyes:

yea know that feeling although i just order my parts from GW
much easier saves you buying the whole figure just to use the
sword or something a good sword to use also is the 40k

I&#39;ve bought the Archaon model so I&#39;m gonna use that for a while on foot when I start a chaos army.
