No, classic model
...GW gave us a new model don't you think? The model is probably the only one that hasn't changed for many, many years (it was the same model when i got into warhammer in, i think, 2000). surely its about time GW got off their a$$ and gave us a newer, better plastic model. anyone else feel the same about some of the GW models?
I did have a chaos chariot. It was nice, but metal sucks. I hate metal models.
I'm putting off using a Chariot or Warshrine until GW release a plastic model, seriously. I'm not assembling a huge, multi part metal chariot OR buying a load of different models and having hundreds of spare parts to make my own Warshrine. Maybe I would have done that back when you could buy individual bitz, but now it's horribly impractical. An employee at my local GW said it was to stop them from having a load of bloodthirsters and dragons without wings, but god dammit if there's one little piece of a model, I'm not spending £30 to get it.
Apparently at this point in time the scupltors are finalised mould details to do with a combined chariot/shrine sprue, so you can be ceratin there is one coming. For the moment, I'm actually to convert my own, using a different chariot and 2 plastic knight horses...
On this note... I have a Chaos Charriot, but I bought it a looooooooong time ago and it didn't come with a base. Anyone got a spare 50x100mm base up for grabs? =D
I said "yes plastic!" in my answer to your poll.... but here are my comments:
I have a metal chariot now, and I love it. It was easy to put together, has never broken, and looks cool. HOWEVER, I would love to have a plastic model so that I can modify it to my likings.
