At a new years party at the local games store, I played a 2250 game against a store employee's lizardmen. I did well till turn 4 then got trashed. Im thinking of tweaking my lords/heroes. I was using a Sroc lord on disc, nurgle sorcerer on steed, and hero of tzeentch on Daemonic steed. He was using a oldblood on foot with some kind of magic poison and something else that made him fly. He doesnt like using Slaan for some reason. Any help on what i should take and what tactics to use?
If a Million Guardsmen die, that's a statistic. If one marine dies, that's a tragedy.
The new Lizard armybook will be released soon. I think we have to wait for that one before we start analyzing anything. But they will be tough. I think that the Saurus units will be toned down a bit with more emphacis on specialised units such as Kroxigors and temple guard, flyers like terradon riders and monstrous creatures. I also believe that their magic will remain terrifying. But somehow I imagine that their points costs will be rather high, so you have to chose between a magic army or a combat army. But thats just what I think. It will be fun to see the new book.

There is noting that allows an oldblood to fly I play lizards. He probably used a skink warchief.
Daemonic cheese-how? Well, you would need to start with daemonic milk, i guess...
