Welcome to Librarium Online!
Looking at what is quickly becoming my favorite core choice, units of 5 Marauder Horsemen with flails and the MoK. Why not bring absurd amounts? Taking 10 units costs under 1100 points, about half of your army. These guys hit almost as hard as Chaos Knights, and they're faster to boot.
I realize they'll be vulnerable to shooting, but as a WoC player you should have a plan to shut shooters down, anyway. Besides - you can afford to lose a couple, and the MoK keeps them ItP until they lose combat anyway, so you don't get a panic cascade.
Trust in your core choices - love them, hate them, wish them dead to clear charges, but remember that come end they will pull off a miracle for you.
Ive never tried it, but an all cav list does sound fun. Add in 1-2 units of knights, chariots, and a few characters and should be good.
You've got me thinking of trying that out! I'd probably want to thicken it up with a unit or two of five knights and an exalted hero or so, but that would definitely be interesting. Are you able to play a game with such a list? If so do post how you did!
the new marauder horsemen are fantastic and along with the knights are both my favourite models out of the new range. i think it might work i have run with a pure marauder force before in smaller games backed up with characters and orges and the likes (i like to theme my armies) and it did well the long combats were alittle slow but it seemed to work really well!
but yeah im sure if you did it right you could make a very cool normadic force!!
let me know how it goes!
This is a link to an army list I wrote about three months ago, looking at all-cavalry. It isn't quite all-Marauder-Horsemen, but two-thirds of the units are Marauder Horsemen, so that's not too bad.
Let me know what you think.

I run 2 units of 5 mok+flail m.horsemen. My newest list has 3 of them. I love them, but I think if you have too many you're battle line gets too long and you have problems with your units blocking each other.

Yeah. I'm looking at the list and wondering if it might be better going Knight-heavy rather than Marauder Horsemen-heavy. I think I need some Hounds in there also, for screening - and if I'm going Knight-heavy, I can probably drop the Exalteds and pick up Sorcerors instead. I'll look into it tomorrow. Sleep time now!
Well this is my dillema right now: to go all cavalry or balanced with infantry.
The horsemen looks fantastic and provides cheaper alternative than going with infantry-horde. Thing is, I don't know how much they would fare in bigger 2250 games without infantry support. That and I don't want to buy either single boxes or battalion box for the infantries. They are simply expensive for the numbers I'd need.
Maybe I'll put an army list in the future and see what others think of it:
Cavalry horde, magic heavy, plus few line breakers like Hellcannon, Shaggoth, or Ogres.
