Excellent! Your green stuff work is fantastic. What model are you using for the torso? I don't recognize it. Is that an Isengard Troll or something, from the LotR line?
I like how you've included the Ogres in the background, as a point of reference. He's a big mutha.
The model is The Troll Chieftain Model I mostly chose him because of his helmet because I have zero ability of sculpting 360 degrees yet it is always disproportionate. I can only do semi flat surfaces but I am working on it. Thanks for the great feedback I have a bunch of stuff at my photobucket page check there from time to time.
It looks mighty nice. AN impressive behemoth this
You could try to cut the angles clean using a very sharp knife (I use a scalpel) as the GS tends to bulge a bit when curing.
It makes the sculpted parts of the model look way more like they are "originalparts".
question about your other model. How big is Valkia supposed to be? I always envisioned her on a 25x25 base (since that would be more suitable for flying around and avoiding shooting)
I do indeed have Valkia on a 25X25 base. I thought to myself she only has a standard number of wounds, has no mount, is still a single model on foot and fluff wise she was kinda human size sorta so I just slapped her on a 25 .
Wow, that is an impressive piece to behold. Seems like one of those pieces that I would let live for that extra bit of time due to awesomeness (I'm an Empire player btw).
That said, if you post these in the Modelling section, they can generally give some better feedback.
