Ok I have been noticing a change in the way a lot of people are runnng their knights in the army list section. Back before the FaQ knights were used in this common build that was considered a no-brainer set up almost.
-Banner of rage
Now the new thing seems to be running knights naked. MoN isnt getting much love because it doesnt help offensively anymore, MoT seems too risky. I mean a 6+ save is ok but Id rather find 10 more points and get another unit of doggys for the knights. MoS is a waste and MoK is MoK. You either love it or avoid it depending on your style.
I've just noticed a lot of unmarked knight units recently and was wondering if its the better way to go with MoN recently being hurt. Im even seeing a lot of people dropping standards and musicians. I guess I can see no command working for em if they are purely a hammer/flanking unit but even with their great stat lines with no command I can see them running from units blocks with high combat res if they try to take them on alone.
Dropping all the upgrades off knights seems crazy but those 295 units are now only 200 when naked. So with all you WoC generals out there what you think? You like your knights buffed up or naked? Command or No?
I believe in reason and logic, so I take Tzeentch. There is no 'risk' or 'long shot' - statistically it saves more points than it's worth.
That aside, naked knights are a very good deal for 200 points, and there are few sights more heartwarming than knights on a flank - or knights on both flanks.
Trust in your core choices - love them, hate them, wish them dead to clear charges, but remember that come end they will pull off a miracle for you.
I still use mine as nurgle with standard musician. They just aren't as good as they once were, but they're still very good against WS3 opponents, like stagadons.

nurgle rage banner never made his points worth in my games. Just khorne is enough.
Nurgle, slaanesh and tzeentch never do the trick for me.
Khorne with perhaps banner and warbanner for a total decimation of enemy troops.
I use MoN or MoT (woodleves MoN almost anything else MoT) and then blasted standard, It helps add an extra bound spell to my magic phase and gives the knights some kills while they are setting up/stalemated for their charge.
As it was said, it is really up to the role you'll have them play.
I like having my knights naked as a flanking unit.
But I also like them as my front and center unit, instead of warriors. In that case, I usually go big: MoT, Standard+Musician, Warbanner (or Blasted against shooty armies). The BSB usually rides with them, too.
But, for a real special choice (aka not at the core of the army), naked or MoK is the way to go.
"How do you stop a Chaos Knight from charging? No seriously, HELP!" André le Bouffon, jester of the Bretonnian court - last words.
If you have alot of Hounds around handy, MoK is the way to go. They need a little more finesse in controlling, but obviously the deadliest combo of all four marks. Just MoK them and their ready to kill at 230pts. Though don't bring just one of them. A single frenzied unit would be easily led around. I would have at least two units of them as flankers, and a unit of Dragon Ogres as the center/anvil.
Other than that, other than MoS I'd not mind to try out. MoT kinda fits since my general and BSB are mostly Tzeentch. Nurgle is still fine although quite expensive now. One unit with MoT+Rapturous and another with MoT+Blasted sounds nice too.
Currently building my poor-hammer WoC army.
