I was curious if anyone has used the halberd bits for warriors. How do they look? Are they worth getting? Im making a halberd unit soon and I am wondering if they look good on the models and are worth getting.
I would strongly recomend that you use Chaos Knights Lances instead of the metal Halberds. They are easier to work with and look better in my opinion.

Here's a previous thread where I put up some pics of both a regular halberd toting warrior, and a Champion with converted knight bits.

Personally, I love the GW halberds. And the great weapons. Here are some of my boys packing heat:
They're definitely a little pricey, though. Try to avoid buying direct from GW. If you can find a place like Great Canadian Miniatures, you'll be laughin'.

Those do look very nice Dfed. The argument between GW halberds and knight lances is good. I think lances make them more flashy and stand outish, but these halberd bits really make them look uniform, which is something cool about the warriors. No real stand out guys, just a uniform, rock solid unit.
I may very well buy the GW halberds. Thanks for posting that pic
