I would agree with Draag. Its almost like rolling for spells, if you roll a same spell twice and reroll it again you dont get one less spell, you keep rolling until you get a different spell.

It actually states in the FAQ that this is one of the rare exceptions of being allowed to re-roll a re-roll.

its a dirty trick.... i like it![]()
yeah when the book first came out our gaming circle didnt notice the "re-roll same results" on the god table and my chosen (with shrines of course) had gotten +1AS like 2 or 3 times, they had like a -1+ AS!!!) was ridiculous. it makes so much more since to re-roll the same results, or your could possible end up with mag res 6 or 9! lol but lets not think about it![]()

Not to be a complete jerk, but if my opponent tried that on me I would pick up my pieces and go home. Obviously he is well within his rights to make such a unit, but it is blatant manipulation of the rules in a way the designers had not intended. In gaming terms, this is an exploit.
The Favor of the Gods allows you to +/- 1 from your EOTG roll. Since duplicate favors are not allowed, you must choose one of the three available to you that you do not already have. That is my interpretation of the rule, and I believe it conforms to the spirit of the rules.
According to GW, the most important rule is keeping to the spirit of the game and playing to have fun. Once that rule has been broken, the battle ceases to become a game and I am no longer playing.

I don't know why you are making such a big deal of this. Its not like you cant defeat this unit. If you can't beat it just ignore it. Marchblock it and i will do basically nothing with a 4 inch movement.
Plus, do not forget what other armies do example for
highelves can have 2 dragons and always strike first,
Darkelves have non slot filling heroes capable of str7 poisoned shooting and re roll every to hit roll,
empire and dwarves can build up gunlines that make you feel like you were taken to another dimension (40kish),
demons of chaos have perfect units without any serious drawbacks (i am thinking of flamers at d moment),
Skaven hordes with ratling guns and jezzails that blast the hell out of anything,
Lizardmen are able to get up to 8 stegadons....
By this i want to show that any army has its strenghts and this is an option WOC has. I think everyone agrees that WoC is NOT a powerful army at least in this edition...at least not the type which can't be defeated...we get a hard time almost against anything and almost no player will build this unit as it will cost too much to be used competitively!!
