Was poking around at ideas for my Nurgle themed WoC army. The current giant in the range is pretty cool, but I was thinking of maybe trying to use the Forge World giant. Does anyone have any experience in using this model yet? Is it too large or just right for its intended use of replacing the standard GW giant model?
Any tips would be appreciated!
Giant is found here: Forge World WARHAMMER MONSTERS
It would be a decent replacement. The Forgeworld one would be slightly taller, but otherwise a very nice fit, especially for a nurgle theme.
That works out swell. It did look taller, but I just wanted to make sure it wasn't larger and requiring a bigger base or anything. He does look like a good ol' sickly giant.
I can't remember the base size of the warhammer giant, but the fallen giant template is the same no matter what giant you use, so it should not matter about the actual size.
If you have a gw store local, just drop on by and take a look at the base size and make your own out of Plasticard if you need to.
