So, here are some characters I'm planning on building/painting. Would these be at all effective on the table top or am I just off my noobie rocker?
- Mark of Khorne
- Crimson Armor
- Axe of Khorne
This guy is designed to go whack stuff. Lots of attacks, Str. 6, Killing Blow, 0+ Save, immunity to Killing Blow, no multiple wounds. Would be riding around with 5 Knights of Khorne (giving the MR(1)). I have a few points of magic items left to play with. Any ideas? Maybe a ward save of some variety?
- Battle Standard Bearer
- Collar of Khorne
- Helm of Many Eyes
- Great Weapon
This guy would be sitting at the front of a big block o' Marauders, giving them some serious punch and improving their leadership. Also would be giving them re-rollable break tests and MR(2). Good armor save, ward save and magic protection to keep the banner alive. Hopefully getting ASF with Str. 6 will help him with the inevitable challenges. Not sure how to mark him though. Khorne for extra attacks and ItP, Tzeentch for extra ward save? Many options.
- Mark of Tzeentch
- Disc of Tzeentch
- Level 2
- Rod of Torment
- Blood Curdling Roar
This guy is my artillery. Designed to fly about and burn up warmachines, skirmishers, and scream at knights. He can toss out lots of magic missiles and the scream. Disc helps him flit about and avoid combat (can he march block? Don't have my rules in front of me.) Little afraid he's not survivable enough though.
Over a hundred views an no replies. Guess that means that these are solid characters without super-obvious flaws?
Pretty good, I run pretty something similar to all three, except chaos runesword instead of axe with Necrotic phylactery.
BSB exactly as you have it.
And the sorcerer looks good. I'd run it if I had a disk.
