The thing is we have all the armys and all gaming scenery at me frends place , we got no ather place too bee and im getting so frustrated too play whitt him cos he never plays for fun only for winning , every time i play him i lose ( or atlest 90 % of the time ) like to day i played him He used hes Empire and in a 3000 p game he used .
4 wizards and 2 priests 2 units of 30 swordsmen and 30 greatswords . 2 cannons 1 wollygun 1 steamtank and 20 handgunners and 10 crossbomen's .
And i whas dead befor i got into close combut.
What shall i doo ? i love the game its fun but i realy dont like to play him .Have no ather to play whit and no ather place too bee. Shall i pack my stuff and never play agen or?
And you can just imagen how he playes whit hes Undead. i have deamons , worriors and dwarfs.
How about downgrading to say... 1500 points, and make a christmas special where you design eachothers lists, not making eachother suck, but making balanced fun lists, as a present to you both, from you both?
I dno... Or just downgrade to 1500 pts and mix things up?

you can come play over at our shop in holland
Perhaps your local gameshops have gametables, or you can find new players there,
but i would really suggest you also keep playing with mister cheesy player.
what you COULD do is check out the daemons of chaos forum and see what the best armylists are, some will devastate his empire gunline. kick him where it hurts most xD
fully nurgle perhaps?Or Kairos with more wizards than any empire list can stop
He plays the game for different reasons but hey! everyone plays this game for other reasons, some just want to show off their nice paintjob, some just want to see the miniatures on the table and some want to win with their armylist.
heres a lil sneaky tip
If you play with him more, and you lose with a smile, he will see his 'i must win' is over the top and it is only him ruïning the mood, play the game for fun (not to beat or be beaten) and perhaps it will end up being fun :p. he will tune down his lists to be less cheesy
Warchief Diggah o da Bloodmoon Squiggahs
Another option is to threaten to stop playing with him unless he plays more "friendly" games. In my opinion, in a non-tournament setting, each player has an obligation to every opponent to ensure a fun game. If both players like cheesy, super-powerful lists, then fine, but otherwise friendly games should make an attempt at a good, balanced, fun game, that utilizes every phase of a turn as well as possible.
Your leverage with this argument is that your friend is in the same boat as you; if you stop playing him, who will he play against? That's a lot of time and money wasted on both of your parts if he isn't willing to make some concessions on his play style/game outlook. As a compromise, tell him you're willing to powergame against him every other game or so. Plus, unless he's a complete douche, he should relish the thought of the "challenge" of winning with a more realistic army list.
Look to take faster units that will get into combat with him quicker and wipe the smile of his cheezy over stacked wizards.
With your Warriors of Chaos army, look to focus on small units of 5 Marauder Cavalry with the mark of Khorne and Flails.
Take Dragon Ogres with Great Weapons
Take Chaos Knights
Take a monster of a Lord mounted on a Juggernaut, pump him up with magic and stick him in with 5 Knights.
Get into combat with that cheezy fecker in turn two and just wipe the entire army off the field of battle.
(there will be more refined tactics for using WOC vs his magic heavy army, use the search function on the forums)
Any army is beatable, you just need to know how to counter it.
you could try getting other people interested in the hobby, jus warn them about your friend before they play him for the first time (i wouldint have that person around when you teach the person how to play either... geting devastated in turn1 is quite the turn off to a new player)
"Thank him who puts me loath to this revenge on you who wrong me not for him who wrongd"
