Welcome to Librarium Online!
I have been playing against my mate for a while now, he plays a Dark Elf force and I have won about 90% of the time against it, however he has given me hints of his next army list, and to be honest it made me nervous a little. While I have beaten him most of the time, I always find the DE force to be very strong!
Anyway, here is what he told me he's thinking of fielding next game:
2 x 10 man Crossbow men - (Played against this heaps, no big deal to me, loose a max of 3 warriors a game to these)
10 x Cold One Knights - (He mentioned he is taking a banner with these guys, so I am a little nervous, they hit hard on the charge with good saves too!)
10 x Black guard - (With always strike first banner)
14 x Executioners - (With army standard of Always Strike First, he always attaches the standard bearer to this squad) - he fields these guys a lot and my god, they are rock solid!!
1 x Hydra / Reaper bolt thrower - (He likes to mix these up, I have played against the bolt thrower alot, while it seems good on paper it doesn't to that much damage to me. The hydra will just basically tie up one of my units for a long time I feel, so there goes a squad in my already out numbered force!
I usually field an all plate army - 2 x 12 Warriors with shields and hand weapon, 2 x 5 Chaos Knights, 10 Chaos Chosen, and Exalted Hero. - All mark of Khorne.
So Im looking for some advice how to deal with the Executioners and Black guard that both always strike first!!
Except you can only have the ASF banner once in your army, so he'd be cheating you.
But yeah, chariots would rape his executioners and chaos knights should be fine against his black guard.

Thanks for that! Didn't know about Chariots striking first..although I have never read the rules for them yet..never used one before. I may consider having one in my army. Ok, so I could I please clarify why only one ASF banner is allowed in his force? Just because I know he will want to know why...
Two Slaaneshi chariots seems to be what people around these here parts recommend for WoC-lists. Also, when it comes to magic items, it says in the rules only one of every item -unless SPECIFICALLY mentioned otherwise in their entry (such as Power Stones and Dispel Scrolls)- is allowed in the army. The rules for that can be found on page 120 of the big red rulebook.
For the record Chariots do not always go first just the impact hits on the charge.
So Impact hits removing models from the front rank
Then if there are any models still left in the front rank strike (assuming ASF otherwise these models strike after the horses)
Then the warriors strike.
The the horses strike.
