Which sorcerer lord to use?

I have a 2500 point list for the GW in store tournament that has been going on, and I was looking for some advice. Here are my two options:

Sorcerer Lord
MoT
Disc
Level 4
Enchanted Shield
Spell Familiar
Crown of Everlasting Conquest
Bloodcurdling Roar

Sorceror Lord
MoT
Dragon
Level 4
Enchanted Shield
Spell Familiar
Bloodcurdling Roar

Because of points constraints, if I want the guy on the dragon, I have to take a Slaanesh giant out of my army. Any suggestions would be great!

Take the dragon. The giant is too easily killed by too many different armies to justify his vast point sink.

although the giant makes you spread your eggs, i'd have to agree with pinkus. That last combination has in my eyes the best. Its versataile and it'll be devastating. And yeah...giants aren't that great...

I'd also look at getting some form of ward save on him as well, collar of khorne would probably be my top choice for the MR as well, but the one that gives a 4+ vs shooting would be alright as well

Thanks for the advice. I went out and bought a High Elf dragon to convert.

Make sure you post a picture of your converted dragon. I could sure use some ideas on how to make one for my army.
