Welcome to Librarium Online!
I have been trying to figure out a well balanced Chaos Lord (or Daemon Prince) for universal use... Any ideas???
If you want a good combat lord you can try the "Quit hitten yourself" combo father of blades and armour of domination i think thats right? anyway rolls of 1's to hit against you hit the user roll that DO hit must be rerolled another chance for a 1 take a shield (i think you can) mark teezech and give him a disk, or you aether sword and whatever else no armour saves hurts (almost) everything
In the name of god impure souls of the living dead shal be banished into eturnal damnation. Amen.
use the search function, theres a huge thread about this already.
here it is:
http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...rd-builds.html (Chaos Lord Builds?)
2010 WoC Cav W/L/D - 7/3/1
naaaa, that would be too obvious, lmao
2010 WOC MOSTER HORDE W 4/L 0/D 0
2010 Dark Angel Deathwing W 2/L 0/D 0
For a general purpose, take all comers tourney build I use:
Chaos Steed, Shield, Crimson Armour of Dargan, Necrotic Phylactery, Axe of Khorne.
Add whatever mark you like, of course; I prefer Slaanesh. This lord is basically assassin-proof and laughs at wight kings, VERY killy in combat, and with T5 and 1+ AS fairly resilient to damage. The thing I like about this build is the lack of regen or ward save; invincible characters are no fun IMO, and it keeps your opponent from really having a basis for whining.
The same build is also decent for a Lord on Jugger kicking around by himself. Your opponent will piss himself with glee as he targets him with bolt throwers, cannons, and other such nonsense, and then feel like a complete schmuck when it only does one wound. Meanwhile, your knights and dragon ogres are breathing down his neck.
I like this guy. He's a walking dragon when it comes to damage output (actually on average does more wounds than a dragon), and he's a bitch to even hit:
Chaos Lord of Nurgle 399.0
Mark of Nurgle;
Armour of Damnation
Word of Agony
Barded Chaos Steed
If you are WS6-WS9 you only hit him 25% of the time and anything lower than WS6 hits him only 1/9 of the time. The word of Agony is there to protect against assassins and other tricky elf characters.
