Welcome to Librarium Online!
I've just ordered two boxes of the plastic marauder horsemen and I'm trying to decide what I'm going to equip them with. What do you think are the most effective builds?
I already have 10 of the old style metal ones equipped as follows:
4 x spear, 4 x hand weapon, 1 x musician, 1 x standard. They all have a shield.
I had no choice in this, they were an ebay purchase and it's just how they came.
So what do I do with 10 more horsemen? I see a lot of lists using flails, so I guess if I took 8 flails and another musician and standard that gives me enough options to make units of any size equipped however I like (using the majority figures rule). Would that make sense?
There's a thread about this exact topic right here: http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...ad-anyway.html (Marauder Horsemen Strategies (again, I know, but read this anyway).)
I would use flails, and convert some flails or other things for those without. Or perhaps use one 10-man unit with flails and another 5-man unit with thrown weapons (axes preferably).

Warhammer 40k: Eldar, Space Marines, Orks
I agree with Viktor if you want to field all 15. 10 should work wonders though especially with Flails and Khorne.
5000 pts of WoC, 5000 pts of Orcs and now 3000 pts of Ogres...What was I thinking ????
Definitely try out a unit of 15 slaanesh full command light armor and flails.
Been working great for me.
