You know, I've been browsing through our armybook and that made me wonder, do you guys ever put a mark on your warshrine? I mean, those marks are just awesome on that thing! An extra attack and ItP through Frenzy, an amasing +3 ward save through Tzeentch, untouchable in the shootingphase through Nurgle and pretty much immune to scary shit through Slaanesh. It all seems pretty nice, imo. Question is: Is it worth it in points?
What do you think?
I'd have to say that Tzeentch is worth it.
Most attacks that can reliably wound T6 will negate it's armor, and obviously 3+ > 4+. Then for those attacks that don't negate armor but saturate with wounds (mass poison like skink blowpipes), you'll come out far ahead with 4+/3+.
Factor in the relatively cheap cost, and its quite the steal.

I never mark my warshrine. It's sole purpose is to boost my chosen. If they are sufficently boosted, then he's just there to annoy and psych out opponents. I think he works great at eating up missle fire, but I think as soon as people realize he's got a 3+ ward, the shooting goes to another target, something that I would rather not get shot.
It's not a bad build but I prefer to spend the points elsewhere. he's decent enough with his base stats.
