What is better
Slaanesh giant, or 7 marauder horsemen with khorne/slaanesh w. throwing spears?
I dont have experience bringing either of them in an allround army.
If your going khorne then go flails, forget throwing spears.
If slaanesh...im not sure, if slaanesh i would probably go for the giant for kicks. If nothing else its a nice big distraction for your enemy to shoot at. Get a giant in your flank and chaos units in the front and your going to get pounded. I dont see enought giants these days, and they are better now with thunderstomp.
So i would either go cruze missle unit of khorne with flails, or the giant. What ekse are you thinking about taking? it may help your selection.
I'm bringing a unit of khorne marauders w. gw, tz chosen and warriors
The other speed I'm bringing would be a tz lord on manticore, deamonprince and lvl 2 sorcerer on disc.
My strategy will be that opponent has alot to shoot at, until the big units arrive.
Thats why I'm thinking about dumping marauder horsemen or giant in order to boost heroes and units.
I guess that's you're call at the end of the day as you'll know what you're most likely to face. A small unit to hunt down Warmachines and the like is a very good investment but if you don't face a lot of artillery (like me) then you can leave them at home. If you regularly fight Empire or Dwarves then the Horsemen would be worth their weight in gold.
If you're grabbing the Manticore I'd probably get the Giant just so cannons and such have something else to shoot at. Otherwise it's all heading towards your Chaos Lord and he probably wont have a ride after turn 2.
