Ok, so this came up in a tournament and i wanted to see what you guys think.
I had a unit of Trolls in a tower, when it came my turn they failed there stupidity check (of course), the question being, What happens Now?!?
the stupidity rule says that the trolls stumble directly forward d6", but which way is forward when they are in a round tower?
My interpretation is that they would just stumble around in the building and do nothing.
My opponent says that they would exit the building. to which i replied: "in which direction?" as the point of exit was very important, do i come out in front of one of his units? or behind them?
What we decided was that we would scatter dice it, and they would exit the building on the side the arrow pointed to, and if there was already another unit there, or not enough room they would just stay inside.
Have any of you had this happen? how did you resolve it?
I have not been in the same situation, but I would also scatter a dice to determine where they stumble to.
From a fluff perspective I would say they don't exit the building as if they are that stupid they're not going to ALL stumble out of the building in rank and file In gameplay terms though, what you did sounds fair.

Which brings to mind the image of Trolls attempting to exit a building that is on fire in orderly fashion... lol
