I'm planning to make a WoC army that has Throgg, trolls, ogres, maybe dragon ogres (if I can do a conversion I'm happy with) and a small amount of rank and file troops. Those are going to be Nurgle-influenced. The whole list is going to have a Nurglish look to it.
So, I ordered some of ForgeWorld's Plague Toads that I want to use. One I plan to have pulling a war shrine, but I'm not sure what to do with the other two. Character mounts (Daemonic mount or chariot), Chariots, ?? I know whatever I pick may not end up being the "best" choice (e.g. vs. Daemonic steeds), but I really want to include them. Any thoughts are welcome.

You could make one in a Palanquin for a Nurgle Lord - they get a LoS in infantry blocks [they are rated as infantry!] which is pretty cool since you won't be able to hide any Lords in with the Trolls/Ogres/DrOgres
Palanquins are fairly cheap [twice the cost of a stead] and throw out six poison attacks and cause fear, thus making even the big nasties worry a bit. Blasphemous amulet might be worth considering on a 50mm base, which also goes nicely with Glaive of Putrefication - all very Nurgly themed stuff.
Now all you need is a fat Nurgle Lord on a Lazy-Boy chair mounted on top for a full effect.

Hey, welcome to LO Maerius! Glad you decided to join our community and our little family of Chaos players. I know it's a bit off topic, but have you seen the Fantasy campaign that we're running here on the site? Anyways, I'll give my 2cents on your Toad question.
I'd also like to see a toad with a sort of howdah attached to his back, like the Lizardmen Stegadon, made out of crumbly wood with a fat Nurgle Lord packed into a little throne on the back.
You could use them as Spawn, which would actually be pretty funny considering how many people you'd get to watch be eaten by giant angry frogs. And yell "boIiing!" whenever you roll their random movement!
Personally, I'd stick a Knight on their back and use them as "counts as" Juggernaut Exalteds. I have two of these in one of my list, one with the Helm of Eyes and Sword of Battle, and the other with the ASF Sword - that's 11 S5 ASF attacks coming off those guys, and I stuff them in with 8 Chaos Knights with MoT and the Blasted Standard to get them across the field. It's hilarious to watch them smash into my foes and chop apart half of a unit on their own before the Knights even swing.
Thanks for the welcome. I've only glanced at the campaign, but it does look interesting.
I like the palanquin idea for one hero (BSB maybe). If the other was a wizard, how would you mount him? Palanquin in a unit or a Daemonic mount or chariot roaming around?
Throgg sounds like Frog, so maybe use them as trolls?
