In my army I have a Sorcerer Lord on foot Undivided. Do you have something like that and how did you do it? I am not a big fan of the GW Sorcerers. I dislike the lack of armour on them.

I have an Undivided Sorcerer Lord that I run with the Puppet and some variety of Ward save. I generally don't have s specific place for him as he runs away from combat or anything scary as much as he can. Plus, with a nickname like "Mr Explody" I don;t like putting him in units. As for the model I use a 1987 model that I think is just awesome!!!
The other one I run as sort of a combat Sorcerer. With MoT, tali of Preservation, Charmed shield and the Rune sword. I converted this guy out of Dark angel robed legs and the Knights Torso and arm.
Ooops sorry. Didn't see the model advise.I need some sleep.

The current GW models arn't so great, but if you can find a back-logg of older models there are some heavily armoured ones that might apeal to you more.
Currently I use the guy off the back of the disc as my tzeench mage lord. i have him on a base but plan on converting it up with my magnets to swich between the base and the disc.
But I don't run the Tzeench mage as often as I run a shadow mage. I use the model shown in this link: CoolMiniOrNot - gamezone chaos wizard by charliess
I believe it was gamezone, i got it off Ebay for less than $10.i primed him black & white (or was it white and black?), inconsistantly around to create patchy shades in a grey-ish tone. I think i then washed it with the new blue wash (whatever its called) to give it a shadowy effect.
actually, i think i have a pic somewhere. . . . . .

Ok, he's blurry as heck but at least you see the colour.
Gamezone makes some really, really cool stuff.
Here are the models I use for mine Odor.
Combat Sorcerer Lord.
1987 Chaos Sorcerer. Older than nearly all the people I play!!!
This model is 'The Hunter' from Mordheim. Works as a nice Marauder Shaman.
Borak what did you use for the book on your first sorcerer?! I must know!
I just did a very slight modification to one of the newer sculpts for Chaos Sorcerers (it has robes AND armor, but a ridiculous-looking head bit, IMO). You'd be surprised at the marvels a good old-fashioned Chaos Warrior Champ helmet works...
