Hey guys, I'm thinking of making a Nurgle Lord with a Palanquin mount using Nurglings.
Nurglings | Games Workshop
These are mounted on 40mm bases and have three attacks each, so I figure an 75x50mm base is fair given the 6 attacks the mount gets. The idea would be to stick it into a big Marauder block and use the Blasphemous Amulet [the bigger base means lots of toughness tests].
Do you think this a reasonable base size, and if not how large would you go?

I would stick with the 40mm base size and just cram extra nurglings under it, I think all the other representations of palanquins I've seen are on the 40mm base, but I never measured, so don't quote me on this.
Somehow I thought that all mounts but Slaanesh will get 50x50 base, but palanquin is In type, not MB, so not sure about that.
It is a 50mm base same as the deamon of chaos one.

this way it can sit inside a unit comfortably taking up 4 warrior spaces.

Yeah I'm not 100% that's it's actually listed somewhere, but I'm pretty sure it mentions that it's a 50mm square base per the rules. Maybe in our mounts section.
