What things do you guys do to counter this spell? If successfully cast at marauders, on average, half the unit is dead because of low STR.
MR doesn't work or anything.. Basically just stay away from the wizards with it (same with the 13th spell), and throw all your dispel dice at it and hope for sixes on your side etc?

I think your best bet is just waiting to use your dispel dice...I don't really know what else you could do besides having a scroll caddy with your army...I don't generally use one and from experience spells like that are devastating...makes me hate facing high elves and lizardmen more.
Oh well. The other day, turn 2 I think I lost about 40 marauders to that one spell... I even threw 6 dice at it lol
Well when your going up against a slann and they can make you discard all your 6's that's when dwellers really becomes devastating...then there's the Teclis cheese we all love and know(know and love?) so...both are just pure shenanigans! hehe
There's not much you can do against either, really. Best thing I have found is to use a Cruise Missile of some Khorne Marauder Cav with Flails and start wailing. Neither Spell does much to them, and they can potentially off the offending caster. Of course, this doesn't work against Slaan, which is a bust, But nothing is perfect. But hell, I am more scared of a Light Slann than a Life one. Believe me, it is painful when your Warriors are hitting Saurus on 7+...
Wulfrick and a unit marauders does well at dealing with Teclis, the slann however is truly a pain in the arse, if I run into a slann using lore of light I grin as I use his spells thanks to third eye of tzeentch
As Papa said, there ain't much you can do about Dwellers. If he kills half your Marauder unit then be glad he didn't kill a 3rd of your Warrior unit! I usually pack a Dispel scroll for such spells. If they don't IF it then bam, Mr Scroll says hello.
There's actually a nasty little trick you can pull that someone mentioned on another forum. It's specific to Lizardmen, but you can also apply it to any other low-Strength mage fairly easily.
Step 1: Take a Sorcerer Lord with the Third Eye of Tzeentch.
Step 2: Get that Sorc Lord within 24" of the unit the Slann is in, but not within 24" of the Slann himself. This allows you to steal his spells without being subject to The Becalming Cogitation.
Step 3: Fling 6 dice at Dwellers on the Slann's unit.
Step 4: Watch him sweat out a Strength test at the Slann's S3.
Step 5: ???
Step 6: Profit!

MSU = best defense against dwellers. spells like that are made to rip hordes apart. present him with many targets and the effects of the spell are reduced.
