    Juggy in a Knight unit?

I was curious about something I did in a past game as far as it being legal (it was a friendly game so if it's not no worries).

I tossed an exalted hero on juggy (yeah yeah everybody let me have it for having a giant target on the field) in a unit with 5 chaos knights with MoK. Sure they took a couple hits before they got to combat but once they did they wrecked havoc on everything. I am tempted to try this again but with more knights in a bigger match but wanted to make sure that I could mix the mounts like that.

    Thanks again LO.

As far as I known there isn't a rule that says you can't. Just remember that the hero doesn't get a look out sir rule, because the hero is monstrous calvalery, while knight are normal calvalery.

I think the title is quite lyrical actually.

Reminds me of Queen: Another One Bites the Dust

Knights march warily down the board,
    Visors pulled way down low,
Ain't no need for the marauder horde,
    Magic weapons ready to go

    Will you panic,
    Will you pass the tests,
With the cry of the battle-horn,
Into the front ranks, the unit hits,
Bringing all the fury of Khorne

A Juggy in a knight unit,
A Juggy in a knight unit,
And another rank gone, and another rank gone,
A Juggy in a knight unit
Hey, he'll slay the general too,
A Juggy in a knight unit.

This post is dripping with win. A job well done, Antithesis.

I was checking my smartphone for unread posts, and came across this - had Antithesis's song stuck in my head all day.

Knights march warily down the board,
    Visors pulled way down low,
Ain't no need for the marauder horde,
    Magic weapons ready to go

    Will you panic,
    Will you pass the tests,
With the cry of the battle-horn,
Into the front ranks, the unit rips,
Bringing all the fury of Khorne

A Juggy in a knight unit,
A Juggy in a knight unit,
And another rank gone, and another rank gone,
A Juggy in a knight unit
Hey, he'll slay the general too,
A Juggy in a knight unit.

Aw y'know, I'm gonna break that Horde,
And run you off the board
Twenty attacks off the front alone,
With a Juggy and horses for more

Have you panicked, are you terrified
How long can you stand the heat
Into the front ranks, the unit rips
    You're well beyond defeat
    -take it!-

[Chorus] (hey, we're gonna get you too)

A Juggy in a Knight unit
A Juggy in a Knight unit
A Juggy in a Knight unit
A Juggy in a Knight unit
There are plenty of ways you can win a game,
And put skulls on that Throne,
    You can beat him
    You can cheat him
You can crush him bad and kick him
    While he's down
Oh we're ready, yes we're ready for you
    This dice bag wasn't cheap
They're solid brass and they barely fit
Clankin' to the sound of the beat

    [Chorus]
    -------

But in all seriousness, a Juggernaut probably isn't your best option, despite the sheer awesomeness of that song. For roughly the price of the Jug you can get a Knight, and a basic Steed for your Exalted. That's an extra 3S5 attacks rather than the Jug's 2 at a higher Ini, plus 2 S4 Steed attacks rather than the Jug's auto S5 stomp, plus an extra Wound in the unit. However, the Juggernaut is better defense for the rider (aside from losing your Look Out Sir! in the Knights) unless you also grab a shield, and it grants the entire unit MR1.
Personally, I still run a regiment of 8/10 Knights with a Jug on board, but I run the Banner of Rage and Mark of Tzeentch so that they have a 5+ Ward against spells, a 6+ ward against shooting, and still smash people in hand to hand. Plus, it can be argued that the BoR gives the unit Frenzy rather than just the Knights, so your Horses and Jugs also get +1A (personally I don't buy it, but if my opponent suggests it... hey, his loss). I run the Exalted with an ASF item and a minimal wardsave most of the time, and he's just brutal. 2 of these units will take up most of your army, but also give your opponent a serious case of turrets-syndrome.
I am not offering any comments regarding the Banner of the World Dragon at this time. For my thoughts on the situation, please refer to the following scene from vintage film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYiv76qRCkA

Watch Out, this one will follow you into the shower.

Yeah, it's music time again, but this time we're talking about the other 80's. Fair warning, this crappy song will stay in your head for hours!

Juggy in a Knight Unit [Owner of Lonely Heart - Yes!]

    Move yourself,
    You gotta stay alive,
Gotta a cannon trained on you,
    Got no chance,
    No Look Out Sir,
    Everybody knows it's true,

    Juggy in a knight unit,
    Juggy in a knight unit,
    Much worse than - a,
    Barded in knight unit,
    Juggy in a knight uniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.

Dance-Rock, big hair, and lots of drums - Khorne would approve!

    Juggy & dragon ogres

Im thinking of putting a exulted hero on juggy and backing it up with 3 dragon ogres with extra hand weapon. Im mostly gonna be playing friendly games with main advesary skaven and a construct heavy Khemri army.
    Thoughts on this plz!

This would work about the same as a Juggy in a Knight regiment would. Generally speaking, DrOgres are thought of as being a bit less optimal than a Knight (higher cost, less armor - Knights work out to take less damage/pt when they get their saves, better Ini too) but they are still good nonetheless. You make up for some of the gap by at least getting a LoS! roll in your DrOgre unit.
Nothing is going to outperform an Exalted on a regular Chaos Steed in a regiment of Knights though - I'm sorry. There is no better way to use the points, unless you just laugh off the entire regiment. I fielded a friendly list that featured two 8-man blocks of Knights, each with a Juggy. When I went to the tournament, I dropped the Juggies for an extra Knight, put the 20pts I saved elsewhere, and started wrecking whole armies with those units. It was pretty hilarious, and great fun (for me at least). Working those units in tandem is something that deserves a kick in the Slaaneshi-Stones though.

Absolutely brilliant - rep for you!!!
Which armies do I have? Holy Cow - I've got three boys, so what armies do I NOT have??
Win/Loss Ratio? - I usually let my boys win, so frankly, it stinks...
