im looking at 2000-2500 points here and i wanna do a mortal slaanesh army obviously. my opponents will be high elves, dwarves and lizardmen mostly, so i wanna make an army that can put up with them, mostly the lizards. so does any expert chaos generals have any tips, strategies or amry lists they wanna mention to help a fellow follower of chaos? thanks in advance
It won't - Won't break me
It won't - Defeat me
We will - Will break you
We will - Defeat you
Well I play against lizards quite a lot with my Mortal Slaanesh army so I can help.
The skirmishing units can be taken out with a chariot and knights on a charge as if you can destroy enough men on the charge they don't get any attacks back and will probaly break. Umm... chosen warriors with two hand weapons can take out the larger units like kroxigor. A well equipped lord preferably on daemonic mount or steed of slaanesh can take out flying units (terradon) and any heroes/lords your opponent has. Take 1 or two slaanesh sorcerers at level 2 as slaanesh magic is awsome. If you take some mounted daemonettes they would help too though I'm not sure if you want it completely mortal.
Against dwarves I would use a lot of cavalry as cannons can be devastating. Being able to get into combat fast is what you really need to do. Your usually always gonna charge. Umm thats all I know about them.
I dont face elves that often so I dont know sorry cant help.
First law of science: don't spit into the wind
HE have a low armour save and toughness so go for hard hitting bastards such as knights, warriors and chosen. some chariots, trolls, ogres, hell cannon and a deamon prince. and you should also give the warriors and chosen the mark of khorne and 2 hand weapons for maximum carnage and for screening you add a couple of hounds in units of 5 and like 4 regiments. marauders are always good for bulk but you should always give marauders the mark of slaanesh since they will always run from combat if you dont give them mark of slaanesh.
Feggman - Please don't drag up long dead posts, by now the member surely has their answer. Thanks.
