I guess u could say I'm kind of a newb so plz don't rip my head off if this is a bad question but...
I've seen a lot of people in here use Slaanesh marks and daemons and they say its for the extra movement. So my question is why is the extra movement so important? do u use it to make up for chaos' lack of ranged weps? or is it simply for the flanking? personally I just say use marauders for defense against ranged and cannons until u can bash the enemy with knights and warriors. Then if u really like the ranged go for some Tzeentch with their horrors. Their coruscation of energy is medium range and can pick of most average models and uncontrollable mutation helps for when they get caught in close combat. I don't know I guess personally I would rather use more effective models statwise than run some slaaneshi chicks who can move an inch farther or two charging. But thats only my opinion so any replies would be appreciated.
The only thing you get extra movement on for giving it the Mark of Slaanesh is the Chaos Spawn; it gets 3D6 movement instead of 2D6. Obviously this is a good idea because it gets into combat quicker, where it belongs.
The benefit of the Mark of Slaanesh is immunity to psychology. You could combine this with the Gaze of the Gods talisman for a very powerful character.
The only other movement benefit I can think of is using a steed of Slaanesh, which has M10.
Ack, forgot the Daemonettes. Well, Chaos armies specialise in Close Combat right? So you want to get them there as fast as you can, so they rip apart the enemy
Hordes of Chaos Mortals (2000pt) - 1/1/0 (Win/Lose/Draw)
Daemonhunters (1500pt) - Coming Soon
slaanesh are quite good as they are imune to physcology but i love the nurgle ways.
"Fight like gobbos"- Skarsnik
ok thnx. yea I was just seeing a lot of slaaneshi lists so I was wondering what the deal was
How does Slaanesh Mark help for gaze of the gods? The character will still flee as normal if it loses combat.
