    Your Marauder Horsemen Gear Setup?

    How do you guys gear up your horsemen, what role do you use them in, and why?

    I gotta stop proxying my gear switches and converting units; the staff at my local GW are coming down pretty hard on WYSIWYG.

    I either set 'em up with:
    1.
    - Throwing Axes
    - Musician

    And use them to harass

    2.
    - Shields
    - Flails
    - Musician

    And use them to be an annoying marchblocking unit that can contribute a good first punch

    i personaly find them useless chaos warhounds do the job better . but if you do use then 2 sounds like the best as they are for flanking killin war machines and killin skirmishers

    Aren't Flails two-handed?
    Use Light, Beasts, Metal instead of Heavens
    NecroLords: Use at least one Death Mage
    Brets: Use Peasants&Damsels
    Skaven: Don't use Skryre SAD

    yeah they are but they are probably for ranged protection.
    well i don't see warhounds do what marauder horse man can do.they have igher leadership=not fleeing that easy when models are shot +you can charge fear causing units
    fast cavalry=obvious reasons
    higher weapon skill with equipement higher strenght.

    no really marauder horsemen rock. for 81 points maby a little bit more.

    i would go for the flail combo.when warmachine hunting you will probably only have one round of fighting.and when you flank charge lets hope you break them that turn so you have the full benefit of flails.
