Hey dudes, just stated my master piece a 2.5k slaaneshi mortals list and just went blank when trying to creat my lord, his name is luscious shyisphar i really like it , this is a list i want to be able to play anyone with, so not to character killer and not to unit killer, i think i will mount him as most of my army is immune to psychology so the only things to panic are marauders, and seeing as they are cheap, if my oponent concentrate fire on them my harder blocks will survive i better stop going into tactics lol so, any ideas?
thanks in advance

Blade of Blood + Pendant of Slaanesh + (Amulet of Chaos or Bane Shield)
Give him Mark of Slaanesh, Steed of Slaanesh, Chaos Armour and Shield.
Now you should have a pretty cool lord that work alround, he should have 1+ save in CC and 2+ vs ranged. And for every wound you lose you gain +1A for the rest of the game, and every wound you cause will give you an additional wound on 5+ to a maximum of double initial witch is 6W! You would mostly get the charge cause your mount have M10.
But I only play DE so maybe the Slaanesh players here can give you a better suggestion.
I play undivided so I'm not really sure about the slaaneshi magic items, you really should consider equipping him with a great fang, ensuring the enemy can't save his attacks will make him much more effective at both light heavy and character units. You'd be surprised how many characters don't have a rule allowing them to always armour save.
As for mount, steed of slaanesh is fluffy, If you have the points spare (and dollars) do what I did and mount on a chaos dragon. The galrauch model needs a fair amount of pinning and green stuff to get right but it looks great and makes the lord a real centrepiece for your army. And as chaos we tend not to have centrepiece type units so it helps.
As an idea I painted my army in standard sort of boltgun and metallics on their armour, I painted the mounts for my characters to be dark and they stand out really well.
Trust me, I rely on my chaos dragon to do more damage to the enemy than the lord.
Sounds fairly cut and dry to me.
There shall come a time,
When one who has the heart of a Kilrathi,
but is not Kilrathi born,
Shall rain cleansing fire down upon us,
and Kn'Thrak, a time of great darkness
Shall embrace us.
There's a particually evil combo for a Slannesh lord; lets see I can remember it...
Blade Of Blood
Crown Of Everlasting Conquest
Pendant Of Slannesh
Now basically the combo's been said but, this is how it works; For each wound you loose you gain +1A, For each wound you cause you take a S test. If passed you get +1W, if failed you get +1A anyways; and you have Regen. So chances are you can get back those wounds you do loose.
Costly, but it means sticking the Lord in front of a Helblaster could pay off for yourself. ^_^
em... Ulrik he can't have that combo... Blade Of Blood (35pts) + Crown Of Everlasting Conquest (50pts) + Pendant Of Slannesh (20pts) = 105pts... that's 5pts over the limit.Originally Posted by King Ulrik Flamebeard

Maybe it was the Trollhide armour... meh, he had regen. I remember that, I just can't add up. ^_^
