I just bought a Beasts of Chaos codex the other day and I'd have to say that I'm pleased with it but I'm wondering, are any of the troop choices worth splashing into your Hordes of Chaos army? I'm sure I'll get varied answers so please let me know why or why not.
As long as you include a beastman character with a brayhorn in your army then they are very worth it. If you use a wargor with a brayhorn as a hero then you can ambush your opponent with your herds and crush their flanks. the speed and manuverability of the herds is a great addition to thee slow HoC list. Beastherds can do well in combat against most foes, but in an HoC list i would only use them for desetroying flanks and supporting your warriors/knights.
ok that sounds cool. So should I use Bestigor herds? and how useful are minotaurs and dragon ogres?
I've seen and played against minotaurs and dragon ogres and they are very powerful.Originally Posted by stezerok846
As for the Beastigors, I think you should use them, because if you give them great weapons and the mark of Khorne, that is a lot of strong attacks.
<-- that room over there in my avatar is full of people who think you are funny...BURN...
