Trollhide Armor states for every wound lost an addtional Attack is gained. If the wound is regenerated does the addtional attack go away? If not could they character get a bunch of attacks and if they keep regenerating lost wounds?
The attacks do not go away when the wound is regenerated.
I'm pretty sure you'd get to keep the extra attacks even if you manage to regenerate the 'lost' wound(s). It's essentially the same tactic as using the Pendant of Slaanesh with the Crown of Everlasting Conquest. Except that the Pendant and Trollhide armour is also available to Heroes, whereas the Pendant and Crown can only be taken by Lords (of Slaanesh, obviously). Though of course, the Trollhide armour isn't as reliable as the Crown, and since chaos heroes only have two wounds, it might be a waste of points...

I agree with Tzeentch Lord.. with regeneration on a 6+, you're not even gonna be making 20% of those rolls.
The chance of failing any two rolls is very high.. and a wasted 40 point investment.
You may want to try the crown of everlasting conquest, the blade of blood, or the slaughterer's blade (character on foot only) instead of the trollhide armor. All of these give better chances of regenerating a wound, than the trollhide armor.
