Welcome to Librarium Online!
I am thinking of creating a Khorne army. From reading the background on this particular army, I noticed they don't particularly like magic, just a real good brawl. Does this mean that I cannot take a sorcerer as a hero choice?! even a Lord choice?!
As always i am prepared to be corrected but this is what i think you can or can't do. If you want to have a Khorne Army [ie your general is marked Khorne] then you can take spell casters but they must be unmarked. You need to be careful as well as only units with the same mark can fight together so if you take a say 2nd level wizard then you should take a unit of unmarked warriors for example so he is not an easy target.
The way i play Khorne is that Khorne hates magic so on the times i play an all Khorne army i take NO casters. Remember - each khorne marked character and unit generates a dispel dice so it is easy to accumlate 10 or more dispel dice - throw in a dispel scroll or 2 and your opponent will have trouble getting more than 1 or 2 spells up before your units hit him - then watch out - as a hit from a unit of Chosen Khorne Knights will make the other sides eyes water.
If you like casting spells then Tzeentch is the obvious choice.
Hope this helps.
A Khorne army can pick an undivided sorceror as long as it contains at least one undivided unit I think. However from a fluff perspective a spellcaster in a Khorne army would last about 5 minutes before someone beat the snot out of him for being a girly limp wristed wizard
The only real reason to have a wizard in a Khorne army is as a scroll caddy and given the amount of dispel dice and magic resistance you can have you can normally get away without one. I never play a wizard in my Khorne mortals army, they get in the way of charging across the battlefield to kill everything in the way :w00t:
