Double Post Just Starting

Hello, Im new to Librarium Online and HoC, and I was wondering if anyone could help me start of a HoC army. I know I want the army to have no demons to start with, I also do not want any beastman. I was also wondering if i could make up my own lessergod for my army to be centered around. Any help with what to buy to start off would be greatly appreciated.

i guess your limited to mortals (a descision i might sugest you may want to rethink)), and if your going to have your own demi god, thats fine for modeling etc, but you should descide how you want it to play, do you want your army toplay in the same way as one of the 4 main gods, or do you want to go for an army that plays like an undivided army.

The mortals thing is just to start with i will add in demons and stuff like that in after i feel comfortable with my own mortal army. The only problem is i dont have the book yet and i dont know how hte different gods play same with undivided i dont really know how they play.

Get the army book for one. Then read it. Do you have the rules? Cause that is needed too.

You dont have to re-think all mortals. I like all mortals and made an all mortal list.

For making your own god. I dont really think you can do this. Sure you can make up some god and model your men around it. Yet it will require work. Also you will still have to choose one of the Gods in books if you ever expect to play in a official tournament. So I just follow the rules, but sure, you can say your army worships (insert god here). I have.

Infact look at the list I posted. Its all mortals and I refer to the gods and marks in it as Norse gods.

For what to buy. Buy a box of Marauders or Chaos Warriors and a Champion of whatever real in game god you want to worship. Just start from there and build up. Thats all about I can offer.

Nothing wrong with mortals. Knights, Warrios, Marauders and chariots are all hard as nails :ninja:

I'd go for a few warhounds in there as well

Ciao

Well, demon infantry in mixed armies usually needs some support (or they just act as such themselves) due to them not being able to bring a standard into static combat res (Bloodletters being the exception) but in other respects Plaguebearers are quite useful: best toughness of footslogging demons, all other stats aren't bad either plus due to the cloud of flies they are quite tough in CC (most other units hit them only on 5+ :w00t: )
All that combined with the basic pack of being demonic makes them very resilient (apart from instability, of course, but that goes for all demons)
