Welcome to Librarium Online!
when the nemesis crown is finished i plan to start a chaos army so here are a couple of questions. the armies i fight against are skaven dwarves dark elves and maybe another chaos player (presumably khorne).
which theme should i choose (khorne nurgle slaanesh tzeench)?
is it possible to make a chaos undivided army but still have a hero of lets say tzeench?
id also like to know something more about using beasts of chaos in an army
thanks to all who reply
You can have a mix of them all if you go undivided of course.Yes, but there are provisos (see my oncoming replies). If people think I'm being vague and evasive, I do like people to read over the books first - it really is what they're for.is it possible to make a chaos undivided army but still have a hero of lets say tzeench?Beasts can be used as special units, but beyond that I'd say get Hordes and Beasts of Chaos, then read pg 55 of HoC and pg 51 of BoC (Very important pages). That explains how to select a chaos army, and how mortals/daemons/beasts can be in one army and how Marks of Chaos affect your army selection.id also like to know something more about using beasts of chaos in an army
Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.Originally Posted by amishcellphone
You'll have to go through the books and find what appeals to you.
In an Undivided army, your units may have -any- mark you choose, you may mix and match if you choose. You character may only have a mark if your army has a unit of the same mark. So if you want a Tzeench character, you will need at least one unit with the Mark of Tzeench in your army.
Rork edit: I have a mod stick. Mod sticks hurt
