Is it just me, or do the models GW produce look rather fragile to represent the fearsome statline of the tzeentch lord or hero? I mean, I know their supposed to be wizards, but their also supposed to be warriors, and that bird thing looks like it would fall over in a stiff breeze. I wanted to do my heroes justice, so are there any conversions anyone could suggest to make them look more powerful?
i dont think the tzeentch lord looks too bad, you could always use him:
Games Workshop Online Store — Lord of Tzeentch riding Disc (1 figure)
also, sticking with the bird headed theme, you could do something with the Tomb King ushabti model, the armour could look nice, just bulk out the bony bits...
Games Workshop Online Store — Tomb Kings Ushabti (1 random figure)
Hehe...the bird thing does look sorta dodge!!Is it just me, or do the models GW produce look rather fragile to represent the fearsome statline of the tzeentch lord or hero?
The lord on disc looks great however and fits the idealistic image of a tzeentchian lord perfectly IMO.
As for any other Tzeentch character, i used the archaon on foot model for mine, blue and gold armour and he looks great!!
Another "conversion" is simply to use a chaos undivided character and paint it appropriately, OR for the mounted version the mounted lord of slaanesh could look pretty good!!
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares, your a mile away and you have his shoes!!
