Alright...total noob question but how exactly do you go about killing Tomb Kings? I'm supposed to face them today and it seems that they dont die, if you kill the priest whoever did will die to the curse...and I duhn know...what keeps them down?
Mark of Khorne does a good job. And even if you kill the King, you only take wounds if you fail a ld test, IIRC.
Grind them down and shutting out their magic phase will severely cripple a TK army (MoK, scrolls, furies to mage hunt). Something with magic resistance is awesome if the TK players take the casket of souls.
Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.Originally Posted by amishcellphone

The main strength of tomb kings magic is that it is simply relentless.
MoK is excellent for severely reducing their magic phase (as Rork mentioned) and in all but exceptionally bad rolling type circumstances will beat them in combat enough such that they will simply crumble due to ïnstability"
MoT is good just because it is an army that can cripple the magic phase through having multiple mages.
Added to this is the fact that all tzeentch models still possess the legendary chaos combat ability which will be sufficient to deal with magic missile weakened TK.
Nurgle is not a good option, fear against an entire fear causing army is more or less useless.
Slaanesh nullifies the fear issue whilst again having the chaos combat ability nut khorne models are immune to psychology as a result of their unique abilities and is thus probably a better option (also due to said abilities and benefits)
