hey all sisters of battle players i am lookign for a good retinue, but i done need any phycic stuff becasue i never play against any pshycer units...so what is a good retinue with equpiment and all?

well good inquisitor retinues tend to cost more points than they're worth, but a a canoness/ palatine with celestian bodygaurds are quite cost effective.

For inquisitor retinues you could use them as heavy support by making the retinue heavy bolter and plasma cannon servitors. This option is viable only if you add the plasma cannon as a heavy bolter retributor squad does the job better unless you just want some heavy weapons without taking up a heavy support choice. Another option is you could go with three acolytes with power weapons and carapace armour and three crusader warriors, then give your inquisitor a power weapon and pistol. This will give you 7 power weapons to play around with, but the combat skill and survivablity rating isn't great. Last option is you could go close combat shooting. This involves a transport with three acolytes with combi-plasmaguns, three warriors with plasmaguns and an inquisitor with a combi-plasmagun/plasma pistol. This will work like sisters with divine guidance but hits a little bit harder, probably best used against the tougher units like wraithlords, talos, terminators, monsterous creatures, tyrannid monsterous creatures.

Celstians and canoness option works a bit like regular sister but just with better stats and special rules.

agreed WH =][=s are less effective than the available points worth of sisters, the two notable exceptions are anti psychers cos the =][= can play merry hell with psychers, although clearly not applicable in this case, and the plasma cannon fire support squad which is effective Vs MEQs but generally requires that nto many poitns are spent on the =][= himself

The third exception, which is less apparent, is when an =][= is taken to unlock other units eg archos or assassins, but then you must really consider the cost of the =][= plus the cost of the additional stuff as one thing, which tends, again, to make the same ammount of sister more efficent

i disagree with them cus i think =][= kick butt that sed there is only 2 nonpsychic varients that work

elite: =][=, eviserator,libre hersesius, 3 warriors 2 flamers and a crusader, 2 chirugeons and a familiar

or

=][=, cc wep+pistol, scorging, libre heresius, 3 warriors with heavy b's, 1 sage, 1 chirugeon, 1 acolyte with carapace and stormb'


hq: =][=, force weapon, bolt or plasma pistol or brazier, 3 warriors, 2 flamers and 1 crusader, 2 chirugeons, 1 familiar, 1 sage, 3 acolytes 2 with power armour and mancatchers and 1 with carapace and power weapon

the lord should be given the liber heresius if no elite =][= is taken also the sage can be dropped to save points without losing effectiveness and if you ever need anti psychic then 2 pariahs or a psychic hood is cheap and easy enough

final note most people don't like =][= or their restricted units cus they are literally a do or die thing and most people just plain don't like taking that kind of risk (more fool them) but they can be truly devastating if both luck and skill is on your side but if ya like reliability besides choosing a different hobby the cult units would be better for you or better than that all-sister

wow thtas alot of stuff...but I never thought I'd use an =I= (besides the one I already have for my assassin) so I never bothered to mix and match stuff around. I really like the sound of it, but it probablt cots alot. I may look into it though, thanks!

I also really like the plasma option as well considering sisters don't have any. (besides pistols)
