Welcome to Librarium Online!
Well, you may have seen my last list. Now I'm looking for a list to combat my mate's Chaos list. He plays a list with mainly Warriors and magic for support. I'm wondering how I could tweak my below 1k list for this purpose. All comments and criticism will be much appreciated.
Hail of Doom Arrows
Helm of the Hunt
2x dispel scrolls
11 Glade guard; with music
10 Glade guard; with music
5 Glade Riders; with music
7 Wardancers; with music

As I've said before it looks like a very solid list. I'm not convinced about the scouts and I'm a fan of dryads too.
Wild Riders are very nice due to the fact that Chaos don't have much shooting. Consider them too.
As some people have said in your other thread, try playing a border patrol with your friend or on vassal or even a starter game in a GW if oyu can get to one just so you can get a handle on the rules.
As you know reading the rulebook and playing the game are two different things. Good luck.
The alter isn't illegal. As you said the spellsinger will just have to be general.
I like the list but agree that the scouts are probably not the best idea.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
Ugh, Im not a fan of low point games.
Id say you should drop the softer stuff in your list, like the scouts, and find room for some more dryads or wild riders. You have to predict that you will be fighting some very heavily armored opponents, so you need to be ready with higher strength attacks. Also, you need plenty of units that will be able to out run his stuff.
The glade riders will be awesome for baiting charges for your wardancers. Be sure to put them to good use.
