A Cluster of Radiants
Total – 90pts
10 Glade Guard
10 Glade Guard
5 Wild Riders of Kurnous
Couple of things -
1)I will be going up against Brettonians, Skaven and Tombking so im looking for units which will be useful against them
2) couple of points left (27pts) what can i add? or change? Bladesinger for the Wardancer?
3) Anything you guys see that needs to be switched/ changed when going up against the above armies? Warhawk Riders? anything?
Hope to hear from the board soon.
Your list as configured should do fine against the TK and SK. It's the Brettonians where you might be a little weak depending on what he plays. I would consider changing the noble to a WR. You can leave him with the HoDA, nice surprise value. For you extra points I would beef up the WD's. I would also consider swapping a unit of GG for a unit of GR's. I always like a little more speed in my lists if possible. The Warhawk Riders are a little too expensive at this point level for what they can do for you.
I think your list is good. I've never faced Brets, but I'd make sure to stick to shooting them and don't get to ambious about combat unless you have two groups hitting one.
With the extra points, I'd add the warbanner to the wild riders for that extra combat resolution or simply another rider.

Thank you so much for replying guys.
Is there anyone else who can give me feedback before i repost?
hello, and welcome to wood elves!
You made a nice, all round list that features many different units, wich is good, so you can find out for yourself wich units you like most.
A few tips/hints:
-the alter kindred is really nice, he has the most used combo. I usually field him with a 3 plus ward till the first wound suffered and the helm. I'm not that impressed by the all mighty powers of a hail of doom arrow, and that gives him a lot more survivability in combat (were you want him to be).
-The branchwraith is a perfect general at 1000 points, try fielding him with an annoyance of netlings as well. That way he will win from a tomb prince, and will survive against a paladin.
-in general, dont bother investing points in champions in a wood elve armie. I play 2k without champions, and I never miss them, they are just to expensive. So I'd drop the branchnifm and the wind rider.
-when you only play 5 wild riders, I'wouldn't take a banner. Trie upgrading the unit to six with warbanner, or dont bother at all.
Tomb kings should be easy to take on, skaven managable if he doesnt overdo it in the magic department. Bretonians, thats a diferent story. Wood elves strugle with high armour saves, and ward saves.
I dont know how "knigt-full" he plays, but I consider the only option to play better then a draw against the almighty armour is fielding terror causers.
@ Sirkently:I'm not 100% sure, but if I recalled correctly, a WR lost his longbow, and can only take magical spears... He might find himself short of a fire weapon to use that HOD ...
Other then that, completely agreeing with the tips! nice.
you need some glade guard. Short of warhawk riders, they are the perfect unit for redirecting charges. Both TK and Brets rely on getting the charge, so screwing that up with a unit of glade guard will royally mess up their plans.
In the army book the only kindred that loses their longbow is the wardancer. So he would indeed have weapon to loose the HoDA.@ Sirkently:I'm not 100% sure, but if I recalled correctly, a WR lost his longbow, and can only take magical spears...Arishnakoger, I assume you mean glade riders, as there are two units of glade guard listed. As I said originally, I would put in a unit of glade riders myself.you need some glade guard.
It's a really solid list. If you're going to take a standard bearer for the wild riders, then try to find points for the war banner. It makes a huge difference. Also, remember that opponents will want to capture your only standard for the VPs it represents. Don't get in over your head with that unit.
It depends on how you interprate the text of the wild rider kindred, since it says the character carries a spear and LA. Besides it says it cant take additional weapons. In the army book the only kindred that loses their longbow is the wardancer. So he would indeed have weapon to loose the HoDA.
Sorry for the late reply guys!
So taking in everyone's opinion, I should drop the wild riders for glade riders?
