Hi Guys - This is looking a bit more formalized. I was REALLY tempted to get a BSB with HoDA and still can manage it. It was hard to part with a scroll caddy because I have played some insanely magic heavy armies but found some balance.
I must say however (totally unrelated but cool nonetheless), against a CC heavy VC army led by Konrad I only lost 4 dryads (this was against the store manager too) with my 1k list you can see below in another thread. After Konrad's unit was wiped out, the Treeman delivered 8 wounds from a strange root, tearing him to pieces - Konrad never saw combat
Power to the Defenders of Athel Loren!
Alter Highborn - 267
GW, SH, LA, HoTH, Glamourweave, Netlings
Spellsinger - 140
Branchwraith - 140
Lvl 1, Radiants
10x Glade Guard
10x Glade Guard
8x Dryad, Nymph
5x Glade Riders, Musician
Core total = 669
6x Wild Riders, Musician, SB, Warbanner
Special total = 445
1x Great Eagle
Rare total = 335
Grand Total = 1996
4x Power Dice
5x Dispel Dice
2x Dispel Scrolls
Reason I went Branchwraith over another caddy is because I prefer a more passive ability over one time uses, plus the combat bonuses. But that's me personally but if you think a caddy will help more, tell me!
I dropped Amber pendant and replaced it with Glamourweave because I needed more points for another group of dryads.

I think this list is excellent. Can't see any obvious changes I would make. The highborn is a little different but should work well.
I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.
I might be wrong, but i think you exceeded the max points. I come down on 2014 points. I might be wrong, but maybe you should check it again to be sure?
Further: The list looks fine..I have no idea what to say about it
Ummm... my calculations seem to be correct except that I made a mistake calculating the cost of LA and SH for 4 points each instead of 3 so my total is actually lower.
If I did miss anything, please let me know where as it has evaded me.
If only I could get 1 more point I would be able to get me an amber pendant... if only - I am pretty happy with Glamourweave though, nice protection from all shooting attacks, even magic ones and if I am lucky, units I engage will only hit on 6's. It will hurt when I have to fight consecutive rounds of combat however

Woops my bad, that was the mistake indeed haha Forget what i said then haha
You know... hard to say... since my hero is a CC build, maybe it's going to be more viable. In combat a shield is no use and neither is the Glamourweave (unless they fail their test). I suppose it's not something I need to worry too much about. If I fight High Elves I might have to go with pendant and maybe more shooty/magic heavy armies (err such as High Elves again, lol) use Glamourweave. I think for now I might stick with Glamourweave but it's such a nice comfort to know that no matter your enemy strikes last... bah we'll see

prolonged combats make GW and Amberpendant a sick combo.
beyond that, a Amberpendant GW dude in a unit of wardancers can take heavy cavalry in the face and still come out on top. It's one of the few really good anvils we can make, and it doubles as a nice assault unit.
