    1500 shooty

    Hey guys,

This is a variation of my 1500 list that I have been considering.
Thought I would post it up to hear what you all think/suggest.

    Heroes (248 )
    Wood Elf Noble Alter
    GW+ LA+Shield + The HotH/HODA

    Branchwraith
    A Cluster of Radiants

    Core (603 )
    10 Glade Guard (Musician)
    10 Glade Guard (Musician)
    10 Glade Guard (Musician)

    8 Dryads

    5 Glade Riders (Musician)

    Special (470 )
    7 Wardancers (Musician)

    6 Wild Riders of Kurnous – 156
Musician + Standard Bearer w/ War Banner+ Wild Hunter

    3 War Hawk Riders

    Rare (120 )
    5 Waywatchers

    TOTAL - 1441

this leaves 59 pts to play around with. The most obvious choice would be to just upgrade the branchwraith to a lvl 1 wizard leaving 9 pts but im sure the board can provide better suggestions and tweaks to the list.

What does everyone think? (in general and in specific)

    Thank you in advance!

I actually like this list. But the only problem is that you lack in magic defense. I would personally swap the alter nobel for a scrool caddy.

kpjd23 - noted, but i think with a lvl 1 mage and radiants, i would have enough dispel dice to cover bases. Failing which, I have the waywatchers and fast warhawks to engage any spellcasters...

What does the rest of the board think? I would dearly like to have as much feedback as possible before reposting the final draft.

I say drop the Warhawks, I think 120 points for them is too much, at this size anyway. Pick up a Lv 1 Signer with Scroll.
Also, drop a unit of GG for a unit of Dryads. 3 units at 1500 points is too many, I'm sure 2 will be fine.
Branch Wraith is your general, so you might want Netlings on it.

Just my thoughts. They aren't gospel... yet

The list looks fairly solid. But at this level I think I would go with a scroll caddy over a branchwraith. If I were to keep the wraith, I would definitely make it a level 1 and add the netlings to it. Would have to give up the wild hunter, which would have to go for the caddy as well, for the netlings though. Other than that, I think all looks well.

    Good Luck,

I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.

You have so much shooting that you should really only take the waywatchers or the warhawk riders to harass the enemy army not both. With those 120 pts I would go with the lvl 1 branch like everyone is saying, and beef up the dryad unit so the branchwraith can run safely in there.

    Heroes (318 )
    Wood Elf Noble Alter
    GW+ LA+Shield + The HotH/HODA

    Branchwraith
    A Cluster of Radiants
    An Annoyance of Netlings

    Core (603 )
    10 Glade Guard (Musician)
    10 Glade Guard (Musician)
    10 Glade Guard (Musician)

    8 Dryads

    5 Glade Riders (Musician)

    Special (470 )
    7 Wardancers (Musician)

    6 Wild Riders of Kurnous – 156
Musician + Standard Bearer w/ War Banner

    3 War Hawk Riders

    Rare (120 )
    5 Waywatchers

    TOTAL - 1499

So this is my list with suggested changes. (mostly just to the branchwraith)

1)It seems like the Branchwraith is not quite favored over the spellsinger, so I will probably be changing that when i get up to 2000pts. It did great for 1000pts and thats why I am so attached to it.
Perhaps I should change it now though?

    2) It also seems like 3 units of 10 GG are not liked? maybe this is also another thing as I plan on having 3 units at 2000pts. Think it would hurt the CC area now at 1500? (I still have the wardancers...not to mention the wildriders)

    3) As for the warhawks and waywatchers, I plan to have these units in 2000pts and have decided to include them now for this purpose.
(my other rare will be a single treeman as I do not favor the double treeman list)
Is this, again, a bad choice?

I understand this is all down to personal playstyle and all but my questions are geared toward garnering the boards individual opinions to formulate a collective opinion whereupon I can improve.

    My thanks again!
