My buddies started playing WFB again so I decided to join in. He had a few old wood elf stuff so he gave it to me. On march 7th&8th were gonna have a WFB weekend with 2250 point lists and it's RoundRobin style pairings. Since it is a casual envirorment a few point over is no biggie. I have never played this large of a game before. Highest I played was 1500pts. So I would apreciate some help with this list as their will be a small prize for 1st.
Alter Noble 156
-2 Hand Weapons
-Level 1 Wizard
-Cluster of Radiants
10 Glade Guard 126
10 Glade Guard
8 Dryads 108
20 Eternal Guard 258
7 Wardancer 133
7 Wild Riders 200
6 Waywatchers 144
Instead of the Branchwraith could I do a spellsinger on a Unicorn? and instead of the Guard another unit of Dryads or a unit of Treekin?
Sure, there are many different ways to go. One thing to remember is that with Orion, wild riders are core, and glade guard are special. And you can't take waywatchers at all. So your list needs a complete overhaul.
I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.
Unless you want to capitalize on his army rules, Orion's probably not the best choice.
I'd take him and at least 3 wild riders. That way you can use your special slots for other things; such as wardancers.
If you're going to take Orion; remember, he's just as likely to do wounds with his bow as he is on the charge against MOST things; and his charge panic checks only work once.
