Hey, I played WHFB around 8-9 years ago and want to get back into it. Using my old models and updated codex, this is the army list I have, and am looking for any advice that is deemed appropriate.
Glade Guard x 19 /228pts
Glade Guard Scouts x 10 /337pts
w Noble (general guy, scout kindred, Hail of Doom arrow), standard bearer, musician.
Glade Riders x 5 /186pts
w Horsemaster, Musician, Standard Bearer, Light armour, Shield.
Eternal Guard x 12 /476pts
w Noble (Battle Standard Bearer, Royal Standard of Ariel), musician, standard bearer, light armour, shield.
Wardancers x 13 /248pts
Treeman x 1 /285pts
They are the units I have, so any feedback regards a potential shopping list / things to cut out to get to 2000 points, would be welcomed! I have no idea really regards magic items, standards etc so just picked what - in my limited experience - sounded good.
Welcome back to the forest,
I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.
Thanks for the speedy reply, just a few questions / points Id like input on if you - or anyone else - doesnt mind!
I like the idea of scouts / ranged skirmishers to harass units, would the Waywatchers be worth it? Looking at the codex, they seem to pack more of a punch.
Can drop the command from the Glade Riders. I liked to use them when I used to play as a distraction more than anything, fleeing from charges etc. Is that still viable nowadays?
Added Eternal Guard to shopping list. As a unit of 20, would 5 rows and four ranks suffice?
Around 8 Treekin, a Mage and around 8 Eternal Guard added to my shopping list then. Thanks for the help.
