ok so i havent tried a dragon highborne yet. I no its not really the way to go in 8th but i thawt i would give it a shot.
fimble winter shard
armour of destiny
LA, shield, GW, 554
stone crystal mere
LA, shield, spear 181
div orb 115
banner of springtide 381
9 dryads 108
8 treekin 520
the idea really is to keep the highborne out of challenges and use him for flank and rear attacks, probably mop up enemy core support units and use the eagle noble and eagles to take out artillay

note the 2 singers and bsb go in with the 28 GG. Was considering making some slight adjustments to fit the obsidian trinket on one of the singers to make use of the MR is it worth it tho ?
Looks Ok. I would rather see the stone of the crystal mere on the dragon rider though. Better protection vs warmachines.
I would also up one spell singer to level 2.
I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.
I thawt i would put it on the eagle rider becouse my intention is to make the eagle airforce, the enemies most emediate threat. and with a bit of luck fly the dragonlord behind a building or something, keep him out of danger before unleashing him but then it probably is safer to stick the crystal mere on him. As for the lvl 2, the singers are only there for magic defence im not sure what differance a lvl 2 will make seeing as the only spell i would use (if at all) would be tree singing.
