You have 1 too many special choices for 1000 pts there Dori.
Swap a unit of wardancers for some glade riders, or more glade guard. alternatively beef up the other war dancers units.
The scouts aren't worth taking unless they are kited with the banner of the zenith.
WP - Unless the Woodies have a rule or one of the Dryads, GG or scouts count as special he's got the full amount of special he can take. In 1k it Core = 2+; Special = 0-3; Rare = 0-1.
I see nothing wrong.
well actually Wolf_Pack is right, but that was only because i typed wardancers instead of waywatchers
Wild Riders and War Dancers count as Special. He has three units of War Dancers and a Wild Rider unit, so he has four Specials, one too many.
Personally, I'd drop one of the War Dancer units and pick up another Glade Guard unit.
Also, in my opinion, in a 1000 pt game, Scouts will do fine at March Blocking, even without the magic standard that increases March Blocking distance.
It's very much a hit and run list, which is cool because that's how the army was designed in large part. Still, I'd want more GG to soften up the enemy since the WD and Dryads, as great as they are, will have a tough time taking out ranked units.
what i find VERY annoying is that the noble cant have the scout kindred and the banner of the zenith. Still, I just put him on an elven steed in a unit of GR with battle standard and banner of the zenith, so he could run around the enemys flank and march block alot more things and then charge someone in the back when the time was ripe.
I like the banner of dwindling of cavalry. You roll 3d6 to pursue against his 1d6. It's a sure thing except with the worst of rolling.Originally Posted by pro_necron
